ABOUT
Established in 1993, All Star has grown from a small raft rental company on the Deschutes River to running guided raft trips on five different rivers in Oregon and Southwest Washington.  All Star has always been owner run and operated. We believe in having a hands on approach because, quite honestly, we love what we do.  Our guests won’t find a better trip on any of the rivers that we run.

OUR STAFF
Our staff is a great group of people that share a common goal  – to ensure your river trip is everything you hope for on your vacation and you come back to All Star for years to come.

  • Every guide is CPR/First Aid certified and encouraged to seek more advanced certifications
  • Registered and licensed with the Oregon State Marine Board
  • Has completed an extensive All Star Training Course
  • Knowledgeable about the local history and ecology of our rivers

For many of our guides, rafting only rounds out their involvement in the outdoor recreation industry. They are accomplished fishermen, kayakers and skiers. For others, rafting balances their time in the real world. We truly enjoy the river lifestyle and know how special it is that we get to share these amazing rivers with the people that join us.

ENVIRONMENTAL COMMITMENT
Whitewater rafting is a low environmental impact sport and we’re committed to minimizing our impact in every aspect of our business.  We have recycling available for our customers and compost the food scraps from our kitchen.  We use compostable plates and silverware for our lunches and use 100% reusable equipment and  on our multi-day rafting trips. While on the river and at camp we follow Leave No Trace Principles, stay a respectful distance from the wildlife we encounter and teach our guests to do the same.

THE DESCHUTES RIVER CLEAN – UP
In cooperation with Oregon SOLV and the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), All Star Rafting leads the annual Deschutes River Clean-Up. Bringing together rafting outfitters and river enthusiasts, we remove trash along the river corridor through the high use area near Maupin. We want to make sure that the river we love stays clean and healthy. If you would like to be a part of this year’s clean up please give us a call at (541) 395-2201.
