White Salmon River Rafting
|
The Wild and Scenic White Salmon River is located near Bingen, Washington just across the Columbia River from the town of Hood River, Oregon. This excellent 1/2 day guided whitewater rafting trip travels through a beautiful gorge with constant rapids and the super fun Husum Falls (for those who dare at proper water levels).
The river is 90 minutes east of Portland, 3.5 hours southeast of Seattle or 1 hour north of the Mt Hood recreation area. It has great water levels throughout the summer with generally warm to hot sunny weather!
Clear spring water cascades down through a verdant canyon of majestic basalt cliffs. Rapids come in quick succession and make for a thrilling adventure for all trip participants.

1/2 Day White Salmon River Rafting Trip; Class III-IV
Crystal clear spring water, lush riverside scenery and near continuous rapids come together on the Wild and Scenic White Salmon River making for one of the most incredible river trips in the Northwest! The non stop class III-IV rapids including Grasshopper, Siwash, Corkscrew, Waterspout, Staircase and Rattlesnake make this a very busy trip and leave little time for enjoying the beauty of this incredible canyon. We also run Husum Falls at appropriate water levels for those who want a class V rush, otherwise this falls is a short portage.
We run these trips May through October. Wet suits and paddle jackets are provided as well as shuttle, all boating equipment and our very skilled guides. |
